How do you bring the online and offline customer journey together? Or are you looking to save time and layout costs on your itinerary flyers? Then we have an interesting add-on to the route module in Base: the route PDF in your own house style. This offers you as an organisation many opportunities, but also allows visitors to easily print out routes to take with them on the road.
The route PDF
It is possible to offer every route displayed on your website from Base as a downloadable PDF to your visitors. When visiting the route detail page, a button is available here to download the route PDF. Through the button, a visitor is asked to provide an e-mail address to which the route PDF will be sent.
This file can also be used to print a route in bulk (digitally) and offer it to a visitor at a physical location. This functionality has been developed through a collaboration between Recreatieschap Drenthe, Toerisme Veluwe Arnhem Nijmegen, Routebureau Utrecht and Merk Fryslân.
Design possibilities
Because routes can vary in the amount of information, we have developed three standard templates that can of course be applied in your own house style. Implementation as tailor-made is possible in consultation.
Basics:
Name and image of the route, practical information, description, junctions and any QR code with link to the online version of the route.
Format: layout on A5. It can be printed double-sided.
Standard:
An attractively formatted PDF consisting of the name and image of the route, practical information, description, junctions and highlights and a QR code with link to the online version of the route.
Format: layout double-sided A4, portrait (multiple pages possible)
Comprehensive:
A complete and inspirational PDF, containing all information on an itinerary, from practical information to all highlights with a photo and a description. There is also space for general information about a cycling and hiking region.
Format: 3-column layout, double-sided A4, landscape (multiple pages possible)
