Create your own menus with the new navigation pagepart
A good navigation structure is one of the most important parts of a website. Through research and analysis, we know better and better what does/doesn't work on a website.
In some cases, you need an additional form of navigation on a page itself. This could be a submenu, an overview of top tasks or even the page's table of contents. The new navigation pagepart allows editors to place an extra menu on the page themselves.
With the new pagepart, you can build your menu in a number of ways:
- Automatic menu based on content (titles)
- Menu with manual links
- Automatic menu based on pages from page tree

Automatic menu based on content (titles)
You can place content on a page by means of page parts. You can give these page parts a title. With the new navigation pagepart, you can automatically generate a menu based on all titles on the page. If one of these links is clicked, the page automatically scrolls to the correct part of the page.

Menu with manual links
Decide which links/buttons you want to place on the page. You can enter your own internal or external links in a handy list. This allows you to easily create a quick menu for your visitors to the most important pages on your website.

Automatic menu based on pages from page tree
A submenu on the page? You can easily add one yourself. Select the "parent page" from the page tree of the content management system and the pagepart itself checks which subpages have been created under this page. These pages are then automatically placed on the page as a link list.
