Plaece.creator June 2025

June's version will be numbered V2.82. This is important to know, because then you can always check what the latest version number of your own website is. That way, you know what improvements will be available to you when your own website is updated.

For plaece.creator, you’ll see improvements as soon as an update has been implemented on your website. It’s therefore possible that you won’t see the improvements in plaece.creator until a later date. Would you like the improvements to be available at a time of your choosing? If so, please contact support@insiders.nl.

You can purchase new features as add-ons for your website. Adding features almost always requires an update, unless your website is already fully up to date.

What has been improved in V2.82?

  • New page part: ActiveCampaigns
A new page part has been developed, allowing you to load forms from ActiveCampaigns/MailBlue.

  • Enabling/disabling page parts per subsite
By default, all page parts are automatically available to all subsites (different websites that you can manage within the same CMS). In some cases, however, you may not want this. From now on, you can decide which page parts you do or do not want to use on which websites.

  • Displaying area information on the details page
In Base, you can create areas. You can use these areas to filter results in overviews (and on the map). We can now also display the name of the area in which the location is situated on the details page. This allows visitors to see immediately which area the location they are viewing is in.

  • Back-to-top function
We have added a standard button that allows visitors to scroll directly to the top of the page (useful for long pages). We can now easily activate this for each website.

  • Embedding YouTube videos without an analytics cookie
When you embed a YouTube video on your website, cookies are set. This is done by YouTube. To comply with the GDPR guidelines, the user must consent to the setting of cookies. There is now a new way to embed YouTube videos. This no longer requires analytical cookies to be set; only functional cookies are needed. This means that users’ privacy is still safeguarded, but they do not have to accept all cookies (only the functional ones).

  • Technical updates
Updates to the underlying technology (For those interested: PHP, Symfony)
