Plaece.creator June 2026
This release is numbered V2.89. This is important to know, as it means you can always check what the most recent version number of your own website is. That way, you’ll know which improvements will be available to you when your own website is updated.
For plaece.creator, you’ll see improvements as soon as an update has been implemented on your website. It’s therefore possible that you won’t see the improvements in plaece.creator until a later date. Would you like the improvements to be available at a time of your choosing? If so, please contact support@insiders.nl.
You can purchase new features as add-ons for your website. Adding features almost always requires an update, unless your website is already fully up to date.

What has been improved?
Some of these improvements are applied automatically as soon as your website is updated. Others are add-ons that you can purchase separately.
Add-ons available for separate purchase
New page part: Timeline
Bring history to life with an interactive timeline full of stories, images and milestones.
With the new Timeline page part, you can present your destination’s history as an interactive timeline, featuring stories, images and milestones in chronological order. Ideal for heritage stories or to show how a place has developed over the years. Here’s what the Timeline page part offers:
- Stories about the past and present, clearly organised in chronological order
- Can be combined with images to provide more context and enhance the experience
- Suitable for heritage stories, anniversaries or area development
Would you like to add the Timeline to your website? This feature is available as an add-on. Please contact support@insiders.nl to discuss the options.
Automatically available to everyone
- Instagram page part expanded with more features
The Instagram page part has been expanded with editorial features: you can now add a title, text and button alongside the Instagram post, and choose whether this content appears to the left or right of the post. This allows you to tell a more complete story with an Instagram post, without needing a separate page part. - Improvements to digital accessibility
Based on accessibility audits, various improvements have been implemented, including the correct labelling of buttons, lists and decorative icons for assistive technology. - Automatic deletion of inactive accounts
Login accounts that have not been used for a year will now be automatically deleted. This applies to accounts within both plaece.base and plaece.creator, and is intended to clear out obsolete access. - Default image for Base items without a photo
Base items without a linked image will now display a neutral default image instead of a map with a marker.
Would you like to add one of these features to your website, or would you like to know what’s needed to use them? Please contact support@insiders.nl – we’d be happy to discuss this with you.
