Plaece.creator November 2025

November's version will be numbered V2.86. This is important to know, because then you can always check what the latest version number of your own website is. That way, you know what improvements will be available to you when your own website is updated.

For plaece.creator, you’ll see improvements as soon as an update has been implemented on your website. It’s therefore possible that you won’t see the improvements in plaece.creator until a later date. Would you like the improvements to be available at a time of your choosing? If so, please contact support@insiders.nl.

You can purchase new features as add-ons for your website. Adding features almost always requires an update, unless your website is already fully up to date.

What has been improved in V2.86?

  • plaece.maps 2.0
The interactive map has been completely overhauled and technically rebuilt. All familiar features remain available, but the graphical interface and functionality have been significantly improved. There are now more options available for customising the map to match your organisation’s branding and for determining the position of the filter buttons. We will be rolling out the new map step by step across all existing websites.

  • Saving blog articles as favourites
As well as saving Base pages (such as events, locations and routes), blog articles can now also be saved as favourites. This allows visitors to compile a bucket list featuring local businesses and inspirational articles. This new feature can be purchased separately.

  • Enhancements to registration forms
Businesses can use registration forms to add their own locations and events to the database. Based on a number of questions and requests, we have now implemented the following enhancements:

    • Assigning standard tags/markers
When a new entry is added, a tag or marker can be automatically assigned to it. This is useful for easily filtering or categorising added items.

    • Multi-select category
A new listing can be categorised by the business owner themselves. Previously, only one category could be selected; now we can also set the system to allow multiple categories to be selected.

  • Improving AI visibility through structured data
Given the rapid rise in searches and queries via AI tools such as ChatGPT, Gemini and Copilot, it is important that the data on your website is well structured. This ensures that the data can be properly ‘understood’ by AI. ‘Structured data’ has been present on all Plaece websites for some time now, enabling the data to be read by technical systems in a clear and comprehensible manner. As a visitor, you won’t notice this at all, but within the code, it is easily readable by AI systems (and search engines). In this release, we have added much more structured data. Structured data is now used in the following places:

    • FAQ pagepart

    • Base detail pages (Locations, Events, Routes, Deals, Tips)

    • Blog pages

    • Blog & Base Tiles pagepart

  • Base Item Picker page part with autocomplete
With the Base Item Picker page part, you can load a single Base Item into a content page. Until now, this was done by looking up the ID number in Base and pasting it into Creator. Now, you can search directly in Base using a search bar in Creator. This makes it much easier to set up a Base Item.
