Receive notifications of changes in plaece.base
How great would it be if, as an administrator, you received a notification when one of your entrepreneurs creates a new event? With the new notification module in plaece.base, you can decide when you want to be notified: when new items are created, when existing items are changed or when an item is deleted.
From various partners, we have been asked whether it is possible to receive a notification when a new item is created (e.g. a new event).
Administrators in plaece.base can indicate with the new notification module whether they want to receive notifications of changes in plaece-base.
How notifications work
If the notification module is enabled, every administrator in base can indicate on his own profile page which notifications he wants to receive.

When a notification is sent
In plaece.base, you have to deal with a layered rights structure; based on these roles, notifications are sent or not sent.
In the example above, we are dealing with a plaece.base installation with multiple organisations that can carry out management (management organisations). These management organisations can in turn contain multiple users (e.g. the editorial team of a local tourist office). If a user of an underlying organisation (entrepreneur organisation) creates a new item, the users of the associated management organisation are notified via an e-mail message (if these users have enabled notifications, of course).
A practical example:
User 2 (member of the organisation "Theatre Zeus" creates a new event. In this case, user "Pascal Vleugels" (who is a member of the parent management organisation "VVV Hedel)" will receive a notification.
All other users in this example will never receive a notification.
