Review type: labels. What does the visitor think?

In a previous article, we wrote about the value of other people's experiences in making decisions. The new module: "Review: Labels" allows website managers to start collecting visitor experiences themselves.

With the Review module, it is possible to let website visitors tag pages based on a number of set editorial themes, e.g. 'daring', 'funny' or 'romantic'. This allows website editors to set up special themed pages based on all labelled sites.

As editors of the website, themes can be set up independently, on which locations or events can be rated. Website visitors can then choose from the available themes and 'tag' a location.

In plaece.base, these labels are stored per user as User Generated Content. This data can also be read back to other systems, such as an external website or app, via the API.

Other forms of reviews

Based on the experiences of other visitors, positive and negative feedback can help you make the right decision. Also, possible questions can be answered directly, because previous visitors have already written about them: "Is this also a nice place for children"? Within plaece we differentiate between various uses of reviews, read more about this in the article: "Reviews: Visitors have their say!"

As a website editor, it is super interesting to know what is going on with visitors to your own website. By collecting and analysing all feedback from visitors, a website can be tailored better and better to the wishes of its users.
