plaece.nearby

From a single spot to everything the neighbourhood has to offer.

Someone who has found a nice walking route or a hotel usually hasn’t finished yet: where can they park, where can they eat nearby, and what else is there to do? Without an answer, they’ll look it up themselves – often on Google – and will therefore leave your website.

plaece.nearby adds a ‘nearby’ map to the details page, with filter options for, for example, food, accommodation, routes or practical facilities. This allows visitors to continue planning their visit on the same page throughout their stay.

Most visitors do not plan a day out from start to finish in one go. They first choose one thing – a hotel, a walk or a place of interest – and only fill in the rest whilst on the move or once they arrive. It is precisely at that moment that a map showing additional attractions makes the difference between visitors clicking through to your site or clicking away to another.

In this way, a detail page becomes not the end point of a visit, but the starting point of a full day out.

This results in plaece.nearby

  • Visitors can plan their day out without leaving your website
  • Visitors can find related offerings more quickly, from food to accommodation
  • Fewer visitors clicking away to Google or another platform
  • More page views and longer sessions per visit, thanks to additional click-throughs
  • Every existing detail page instantly becomes more valuable, without you having to do a thing
