A destination has more to offer than just one category. Food, accommodation, activities: ideally, you’d want to showcase all of them. This is tricky, though, as research into choice overload shows that visitors tend to lose interest as soon as they have to process too many options at once. That makes bundling offerings an art form: showcasing everything without making a page feel cluttered.
With the Base Combi Tiles page part, you can group different types of content behind tabs. Each tab displays its own selection, whether that’s a different item type – such as routes and activities – or different categories within the same type.
Just as with Base Tiles, the content comes directly from plaece.base. If you make a change, the tile updates automatically across every tab.
This allows you to build a complete overview in a single page part, ranging from a central page such as ‘things to do in the region’ to a compact block on the homepage.
Visitors choose which tab to open themselves, so they don’t see everything at once, but exactly what they’re looking for at that moment.

- Flexible organisation by item type or category, exactly as you want to display it
- An inspiring first impression of everything your destination has to offer
- A clearer overview of your destination in its entirety, all in one place
