Plaece.base June 2024
Every month we release a new version of Plaece.base. This month's version is: V3.65. The improvements in Plaece.base below will be available to everyone in June.
What has been improved?
- Sorting items by rating
If a location or activity begins with a number, it will be displayed in the correct order. - Improved delete button
- The new feature "bulk delete" allows you to delete many items at once. That can sometimes take a while. That's why we make the button inactive for a while during a delete action and let a spinner icon rotate so you know Base is busy deleting.
- Improved delete screen
If you try to delete a location, you may find that it cannot simply be deleted. The location may still be linked to an activity, route or package. We now display an overview of all links, so that you can manually adjust them. - API
Improvements to the API to ensure future flexibility and enhanced performance. - Technical updates
Updates to the underlying technology (For those interested: ElasticSearch, API Platform, Composer) and integration of webhooks.
New feature: Smart AI assistant - Automatic SEO text writing (Pilot phase)
The AI Assistant is currently activated as a pilot for a number of partners. They are trying out the feature and providing us with feedback, tips and suggestions. In the background, we are working on the next step to make more functionalities available in the AI Assistant. As soon as the AI Assistant can be purchased as a feature, we will be able to tell you more about the costs and exact possibilities.
Plaece.creator June 2024
June's version will be numbered V2.72. This is important to know because then you can always check what the latest version number of your own website is. That way, you know what improvements will be available to you when your own website is updated.
For Plaece.creator, you’ll see improvements as soon as an update has been implemented on your website. It may therefore be the case that you only see the improvements in Plaece.creator at a later stage. Would you like the improvements to be available at a time of your choosing? If so, please contact support@insiders.nl.
You can purchase new features as add-ons for your website. Adding features almost always requires an update, unless your website is already fully up to date.
What has been improved?
- Customisable number of tasks and maximum number of images in the Hero page part
By default, the Hero page part allows for a maximum of 4 tasks and an unlimited number of images. Would you like more or fewer? We can now configure and customise this specifically for you on a per-website basis. - Footer themes
Themes for page parts have been available for some time; this is a feature that can be added to your website. You can use these to make the same page part look slightly different. We have now also added themes for the footer of each page part. So now you can also (for example) customise the Call to Action button placed below the page part. - Optimisation of route detail page for tablets
We have further optimised the route details page for tablet users. - Doorway grid optimisation
Various minor optimisations have been made, resulting in better text alignment and more text fitting into the tiles. Tapping on a tile on mobile devices has also been improved further.

We have a number of features that allow you to integrate subscription forms from your mail programme into your website. So you can load forms from Spotler/Mailplus, Mailchimp, Laposta, Optinmonster, Mailinglist or Enormail.
